Sometimes some wireless networks will not broadcast their Network IDs, as a security measure, in hopes of keeping the network hidden and only people who know of its existence will be able to connect to it.

To connect to a hidden wireless network, if you are authorized, follow these simple steps.

Step 1:

Click on the wireless network icon in the system tray in the lower right hand corner and click on

Open Network and Sharing Center

Step 2:

When the Network and Sharing Center window pops up, in the left side pane click on Manage Wireless Networks

Step 3:

Click on Add to create a new wireless network proflie

Step 4:

When windows to manually connect to a wireless network pops up, click on Manually create a network profile

Step 5:

In the windows to create a new network profile, enter all network information and select connect even if network is not broadcasting

Click on Next and window letting you know that you have successfully added the wireless network will pop up.

Click on Close to close window.
